U.S. Cellular Announces Samsung Galaxy Tab Pricing




U.S. Cellular has finally unveiled pricing and plan information for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The tablet will retail for $399 on a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. The Android tablet features a 7-inch display, a 1GHz processor, the Google Android 2.2 with Android Market access and Samsung Media Hub. The network carrier also provides a couple of data plans – a 200MB of data for $15 per month or a 5GB of data for $55 per month.

Sapphire Outs Radeon HD 6850 Toxic Edition Graphics Card



Sapphire Technology has showed off their newest factory overclocked graphics card in the form of the Radeon HD 6850 Toxic Edition. Based on 40nm Barts GPU, the card integrates 960 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 820MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM set @ 4400MHz and has a dual-slot, three-heatpipe cooling system. The card also comes with a number of connectivity ports including dual DVI, HDMI 1.4 and dual mini DisplayPort 1.2, and supports both DirectX 11 as well as CrossFireX technology. The Radeon HD 6850 Toxic Edition should become available soon, however, there’s no word on pricing yet.

ASUS has launched the ASUS GTX580, which is claimed to be the most powerful DirectX 11 graphics card from nVidia. The new ASUS GTX580 is factory overclocked at 782MHz with 512 CUDA cores, the most of any current nVidia design. The video card also features a large 1536MB GDDR5 video memory, rated at over 4GHz. The massive 384-bit memory interface opens up performance by removing data transmission bottlenecks for better hardware utilization. The ASUS GTX580 supports the nVidia 3D Vision Surround in full 1080p HD, allowing users to expand 3D games, movies and photos on up to three display screens at once.
